Custom furniture

From consulting on initial concept to design and through final furniture delivery, I am deeply engaged with my clients in all facets of what they are trying to achieve.

Consulting

I meet with clients to discuss their vision and goals for the custom furniture piece. If a specific tree is to be used, I also can consult with arborists and tree removal specialists to maximize yield of furniture-grade wood.

Furniture Design and Prototyping

I am experienced with digital software for designing custom furniture, and can produce both digital designs and 3D-printed prototypes for client acceptance prior to beginning woodworking.

I love working with any hardwoods including oak, pecan, maple, walnut, as well epoxy pours and metal inlays.

Furniture Making

I use a wide variety of techniques and tools, both modern and traditional, from large form factor tools such as a 4x8 CNC machine, saws, routers and specialized tools for advanced joinery.
